Full Recovery - July 31, 2011

It's been 2 months and Poutine has made a full recovery.  He is walking very well, although a slight hesitation when going up to the couch or bed.  Once in awhile, I still see him lift up one of his legs for a second or two when he walks quickly, but the vet did say this might happen.  Overall, I am very glad he had the surgery with both knees done at the same time.  He no longer hops around on 3 legs and I can take him for longer walks.  The first week of recovery was very rough, but seeing how well he is walking now and will not need further surgeries, it was all worth it.
